Crisp arsenal marking. Measures 13.25” in length, with small brass frontal piece. Three straps, two cross-wise, one length-wise. Bright black leather is in mint condition, as are all rivets & stitching. Designed for the “trapdoor” carbine, this late Indian War boot dates from the final fighting phase against Geronimo’s Apaches. Ultra-fine cavalry collectible, scarce in such pristine condition.
