Very nice conditioned heavy buff leather sword knot for use on a cavalry saber. The leather is slightly stiff and bent at top where it was once attached to a saber hilt. All the tassels on the knot are present and none appear to be broken or missing.
Leather is mostly clean with only light surface dirt. The body is approx. 1.00 inch wide x 18.00 inches long.
This is a near museum quality example.
