Cast brass, two-piece “tongue and Wreath” style belt plate for naval officers. Highly detailed “wreath” with details continuing onto both belt loops. Central disc features a spread-winged eagle clutching a horizontal anchor and surrounded by a ring of stars with a rope border.  Heavily gilded with polished details upon frosted background.  Bright finish in exceptional condition.  [jet]
