Oval mess kit very similar to the World War One pattern but smaller. Two elliptical halves held together by a single bar. Tip of bar is marked “US” only. No maker mark or date. Meas. approx. 8.00 long by 6.75 wide. Some wear to surfaces from age and use otherwise in good condition.
