OD green web belt with two piece tongue and wreath style plate.

Belt is tightly woven and meas. approx. 2.00 inches wide. The belt can be adjusted for size on each end by the use of a blackened iron tip with “c” hooks. Each keeper is marked with the Mills name and “PATENTED APR. 18, 1905-JAN. 29, 1901” and “MADE BY MILLS WOVEN CARTRIDGE BELT CO. WORCESTER, MASS. U.S.A.”

Each end of the belt has a blackened metal slider which helps to anchor the blackened bronze tongue with raised spread-winged eagle and its matching wreath with an raised laurel wreath at bottom.

Belt is mostly clean and in excellent shape. The blacking on the plate has worn some. Inside surface has the initials “J.A.S.” done by hand in black ink.

Nice example of a rare belt.  [ad][ph:L]
