Recovered by local relic hunter Ed Miller lifelong local resident Ed Miller, an individual who is well known to the Small family. Mr. Miller was an active relic hunter from the 1960's into the 1980's. The group includes the following items:
1. Complete US Model 1861 lockplate
2. CS copper fuse adaptor
3. US General Service eagle jacket button, with shank
4. US General Service eagle cuff button, with shank
The Horse Soldier purchased this group from Ed in December 1990. A letter from him dated March 1, 1991 and written on Horse Soldier stationary is included, along with our standard letter.
