Here is a very rare, mint condition sculpture titled “Genl Robert E. Lee” made by the renowned sculpture, Ron Tunison, who passed away recently. His cold cast edition of Confederate General Robert E. Lee mounted on his horse Traveler depicts a true to life scene that is rich with great detail and historical accuracy, two of the many trademarks of the sculptor. This cold cast edition is numbered #125 of the 350 hundred pieces crafted by Tunison in 1998. This classic cast statue of General Lee is autographed by the sculptor and is mounted on a large block of wood (10” x 8” x 1¾”) on the statue. Piece stands 13½” tall and is 11” at the widest. A rare, museum quality, classic statue of the Confederate general on Traveler on July 1, 1863.
