This is a 9mm “ The Guardian “ revolver in a military configuration which is the scares “The Guardian” revolvers. The finish is bright with engraving on all parts of the revolver. The cylinder is stamped THE GUARDIAN * AMERICAN MODEL OF 1878. The barrel, frame, cylinder, trigger, trigger guard and hammer are all stamped with the number 53. The cylinder has a Liege proof mark. Length of the barrel is 4 7/8 inches.
