Small japanned tin meas. approx. 1.00 inch tall x 1.50 inches across. The body of the container has moderate wear. Lid has green paper label that reads “ELEY BROS MANUFACTURERS LONDON. 250 METAL LINED CAPS MADE EXPRESSLY FOR COLT’S PT BELT AND POCKET PISTOLS.” Label is in fair condition with minor paper loss on one edge and moderate discoloration at top. Interior is still full of pistol caps.
