This is an original .69 caliber Buck & Ball cartridge in excellent condition.  Composed of a .69 caliber round ball with three .31 caliber buckshot on top.  Wrapped in tan cartridge paper and tied with string between each portion.  The cartridge paper is in excellent condition and features the regulation folded tail on the bottom.  A perfect specimen of this multi-projectile round that was used in smoothbore muskets by both sides throughout the entire war.  [jet]
