Regulation paper cartridge for the rifled .69 caliber muskets. Paper cartridge containing a 3-groove “minie” ball and powder charge. Tied above the bullet and with the lower end folded closed to create the typical “tail”.
Paper is dry and brittle. There is a crack in the paper around the middle of the cartridge and a chip is missing from the tail. A tough cartridge to obtain. [jet]
