Blade is double edged with a raised central ridge. It meas. approx.6.75 inches long and has hints of blue along with some surface dirt and heavy oxidation. Edges are free of nicks. Point has been slightly rounded.
Elliptical guard is stamped with “SHEFFIELD” over “ENGLAND” on one side of the grip.
Grip is of ribbed cast brass that has darkened with age and handling.
Scabbard is made of thick black leather and is of a different style than what is usually seen. Frog is present with slits for attaching to the belt. The snap down thong which holds the handle in place against the frog is missing.
Overall condition of the scabbard and knife is good. [ad]
