Standard dimensions: 16.25” overall length, blade 11.625” in length, 1” at base, with flat riveted wooden handle & metallic birds head release mechanism. Exhibits semi-bright patina, with slight scratching & wear. Dark metallic knob pointed sheath with swivel belt clip. Overall VG plus, and handsome. Excellent bayonet collectible. With its “1898” date this is the representative U.S. Span-Am bayonet. [jp]
