Cast brass handle with ribbed grip. Unique crossbar to this weapon. Blade measures 21 5/8” and is marked on ricasso “US”. Blade has a mottled dark/bright appearance. No nicks. Scattered areas of very light pitting. black leather scabbard with brass mounts. Leather with age crackling and some finish loss. Area of scabbard near tip is weak with small hole in the top ridge area. Brass tip with a few dings and dents.
